Christina is a founding partner at the boutique entertainment law firm Buchli Goldstein LLP. Christina's practice is focused on the areas of media and entertainment law with an emphasis on film and TV production, financing, licensing, distribution, and intellectual property acquisition and protection. Christina has represented clients ranging from Canadian and international independent producers to Hollywood studios, errors and omissions insurers, writers, directors and artists at every stage of production, from development to delivery. She is also involved in various copyright-related matters including errors and omissions reviews in the film and TV industry. Christina has extensive experience advising clients with respect to Canadian and U.S. talent guilds, co-productions and Canadian tax incentives, and structuring clients' productions to maximize the benefits of these programmes. Christina has been recognized as a leading Entertainment lawyer by The Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory, the Best Lawyers in Canada, The Women in Business Law Guide and The Lexpert®/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada. She is on the board of directors of Women in Film and Television - Toronto. Before starting the firm with Hilary Goldstein, Christina was a partner at a Canadian national law firm, and prior to that she worked in the film and TV industry for 8 years as a production manager and line producer.
