My name is Joel Santos, and I've been chatting quite a bit with Zhang Xun and a few other students about getting connected with Sheridan about scoring some of the student films and Theses. Zhang Xun suggested that I reach out to you to see if you might forward my information to those currently working on their thesis, or those who might be starting the process for next year. Or for anyone who might interested at all!
Here's a bit about me:
Most recently, I wrapped up scoring an official Fox Produced short for the Alien Franchise in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the franchise. I am incredibly proud of the music I wrote for it, which I got to record and conduct at Warner Brother's Eastwood Scoring Stage.

Currently, I'm working on the music teams for several upcoming Star Wars video games. In addition to that, I've worked on the music teams for How To Train Your Dragon: Homecoming, Fortnite, My Spy, and Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween. I frequently work with composer Benjamin Wallfisch (Shazam, It, Blade Runner 2049, Hidden Figures, Dunkirk) at Hans Zimmer's studio.

I have been wanting to work on more and more animation under my own name recently, and I figured the best way to go about that, would be to connect with some students. I love all of the work that I have seen come out of Sheridan.
