for those of you planning a 3D project: CG 101 pdf

Mark Mayerson just passed this on and thought it would be of interest to anyone in 4th Year planning a 3D film.

It describes working in a Computer Graphics / Visual Effects environment from an industrial point of view.  Lots of valuable experience embodied here. Take a few moments to look it over if you are planning a 3D film for your Senior Animation Project.

Here is Mark's note. and a link to the pdf:

This was written by Jeffrey Dates, a cgi professional, and I got it from
an email list that I'm on.  It is especially relevant for 3rd and 4th year
students who will be working on cgi films, but should be read by anyone
interested in cgi.
Regards,
Mark
