Workshop Notes from "Alternative Forms for Short Films"

In case you weren't able to attend, here are some comments and examples from last week's workshop, Alternative Forms for Short Films, given by myself and Trevor Davies.

The purpose of the workshop was to provide ideas and suggestions for your Senior Animation Project that were different from a typical short, humorous story.

The workshop was divided into two parts, mine and Trevor's,  each with it's own approach to the question. These turned out to be complementary to one another, as I presented examples that dealt with the format or structure of the project and Trevor dealt with alternative media and techniques.
